Step into the shoes of visionary founders and investors, armed with a deck of demographic, industry, and technology cards. . But beware! Your fellow players are not just your competitors – they're also relentless investors who will scrutinise every detail of your business plan. Craft the perfect startup pitch that captures your friends' and investors' imagination!
How to Play
Pitch Deck Card Game
There are 3 decks of cards- demographic, industry and technology.
At your turn, pick 1 card from each deck.
Pick Cards
Take a couple of minutes to think and present your idea to the "investors"
Pitch your idea
Investors have 10million per round to invest. The multiplier on the founder's cards will measure your return.
Invest wisely
- The game pits Founders against Investors in rounds of investment
- When it is your turn to pitch as a Founder all other players are Investors
- Every ‘Investment round’ begins with each Investor having a pool of $10 million to strategically invest amongst all ideas pitched that round
- A Founder draws 3 cards, 1 from each deck, and makes a pitch without revealing the cards or the multiplier scores on each card
- At the end of each pitch, Founders negotiate investments with all Investors
- A Founder’s score or ‘Investment’ is calculated by adding up the amount of funding raised from each investor
- An Investor’s score or ‘Return’ is calculated by multiplying their investment in a pitch with the multipliers on the cards that have been used by the Founder
- You can play it as a high stakes, winner-takes-all single round or go toe-to-toe over multiple rounds.
- At the end of your game, the Founder with the most investment and the Investor with the highest returns wins. Or maybe you win both…but now you are just showing off!
